World Deliverance Outreach Ministries

.

Bishop Chris Holmes is the founder and Senior Pastor of World Deliverance Outreach Ministries, in Mesa, Arizona. Bishop Holmes is a native of Detroit, Michigan. His Dad (Fred) and Mom (Elouise) made sure he was raised up in a holiness church, but in his teenage years fell away from God and had several close experiences with death. In 1996, he had a life changing experience with God and he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior.

In 1998, God told him that his calling was to be a preacher and Pastor Holmes ministry began. He was licensed and ordained under the leadership of Pastor Marvin N. Miles, International Gospel Center, Ecorse Michigan. He served faithfully for many years in several areas such as usher, parking lot attendant, and Sunday school teacher.

Along with his ministerial responsibilities he also was the overseer of the youth mentoring program called Sons of David, Youth Pastor and Armor Bearer. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Davenport University and completed seminary studies at Word of Faith Christian Center. As God continued to elevate him, his gift made room for him. Pastor Holmes was installed as Pastor of World Deliverance Outreach Ministries by his spiritual father Pastor Marvin N. Miles in 2007.

In February 2017, Bishop Holmes became Mesa, Arizona's first African-American chaplain for the Mesa Police Department.

On November 11, 2017, Pastor Chris Holmes was elevated to the office of Bishop.

God has given Bishop Holmes a tremondous vision to establish churches with an emphasis on winning souls and bringing deliverance to a lost and dying world, through outreach ministries. He shares a wonderful life with his lovely wife Trey, and three children Chris II, Branden and Junia whom he loves very much.
